* WHAT TO EXPECT *
You will be welcomed into the cosy creative nook of Artools in Utrecht for a relaxed and
inspiring afternoon.
We will ease in with a short grounding and introduction to intuitive collage – a way of creating
that invites you out of the thinking mind and back into your senses. You will browse, tear, cut,
layer and glue images that speak to you, transforming existing materials into a visual reflection
of what is alive in you.
No need to have any art skills or talent to benefit from this journey! It’s all about the process.
There will be gentle prompts available for those who like guidance, as well as optional journaling
and a supportive sharing moment at the end. You are always welcome to share as much or as
little as feels right.
You can expect to leave:

* PRACTICAL DETAILS *
✅ You will enjoy a relaxed and supportive space where you can explore what wants to
emerge, play, and tap into your inner wisdom
✅ All materials are provided. You’re welcome to bring your own (old magazines, scissors,
glue, and even crayons, markers, paint, brushes, …) if you'd like – you don’t have to share them,
but it helps with the distribution of supplies
✅ Tea and snacks will be offered

* THE POWER OF COLLAGE *
Collage is a beautifully accessible form of intuitive art.
Without needing to “draw well,” you can create something deeply personal.
By selecting and combining existing images, you allow your subconscious to speak in symbols,
colours, and unexpected connections.
The tactile process – browsing pages, cutting shapes, layering textures – helps quiet the
analytical mind and awaken presence.
When you look at your finished collage, you may notice insights, emotions, or themes revealing
themselves softly, offering a gentle “conversation with your soul”. There is no right or wrong –
only exploration 🙂

This workshop is for anyone who:

* ABOUT THE FACILITATOR *
Valerie is passionate about creating gentle spaces where others can slow down, listen inward
and give expression to what lies inside, through both movement and creativity. With a
background in yoga and expressive arts, she guides intuitive processes that invite curiosity,
presence, and self-trust.
She has always been drawn to the connection between body, mind, and spirit – from practicing
karate and dance in her early years in Belgium, to discovering yoga in her teens and returning
to it later as a source of softness, grounding, and truth.
She believes that creativity belongs to everyone. Just like movement, it can help bring the
unconscious conscious and reconnect us with our natural wisdom. Through her work, she
hopes to guide you toward a deeper connection with yourself – so you can move through life
with more ease, authenticity, and joy.
